Both the House and Senate in PA have periodically introduced legislation (HB1510 and SB974) that will restrict religious freedoms and impose a serious threat to individuals, businesses, Christian Schools, and Ministries that have faith based beliefs about marriage. These bills will create special rights for sexual orientation and gender identity that will supersede the religious rights of our schools to operate with mission based hiring and programming. It increases intolerance and discriminates against people of faith! This same type of law has forced Christian adoption agencies and foster care ministries out of business in other states simply because they adhered to church teaching that children should be placed in homes with a mother and a father.
Please take a minute to contact your legislators and the Governor, letting them know you oppose these laws.
