Title One Support
Title I and others are funds that are to flow from federal funding through the states to local private school students. There are lots of ways this can and does happen. We are committed to helping schools take advantage of the tax dollars that are allocated for your students. Use some of the resources below as a help.

Dr. Kathy Keafer is the Administrator of Johnstown Christian School. She was previously the Research and Curriculum Director for the National Institute for Learning Development in Norfolk, VA, the Director of Special Services for JCS, and a speech pathologist for Appalachia IU 08 working primarily with a population of students with disabilities. She holds a B.S. (speech pathology) and M.Ed. (Special Education) from Indiana University of PA and an Ed. D. (Educational Psychology) from Regent University. She is also an adjunct professor for Liberty University and Regent University teaching classes on differentiation of instruction, exceptional learners, and human development and learning. Her current interests lie primarily in helping Christian schools and teachers improve services for their special needs students. Kathy is the one to call if your questions are bigger than just participating in funding, although she will be glad to help you with that part of the process.Utilizing Title and other funds to integrate special learning in the classrooms are places that she can take you.
